About
Madelyn Greathouse is the UF/IFAS Extension Commercial Horticulture and Integrated Pest Management Agent serving Sumter and Pasco Counties. Prior to this role, she worked for the University of Florida Department of Horticultural Sciences, supporting blueberry production research. Madelyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Horticultural Sciences, with a focus on Extension efforts related to crop physiology and production diversity across Florida. She works closely with growers to provide practical, research-based guidance that supports sustainable and profitable crop production.
